When the mundane is too loud, And I cannot find the quiet, I miss you.

Your lyricism, your compassion, The understanding in your silence. With you, there are no inhibitions.

Bare and stark, you comprehend my soul. In you, there is inexplicable comfort, Not matched by a mother's touch.

You care not if I hide you in the dark, Or let you shine bright. Your joy is in my caress, My joy, your purpose.

You have grown with me. You have taken my dreams, And shaped them into existence.

Even when the body and mind is beaten, I know you will pulsate to your own rhythm, Keeping alive the love, Resplendent in a purity, Only the divine can touch.
