Meandering along the banks of reality,
With a heart unburdened by hatred,
Kindness emanates,
A magnet for the pure.
Serenity bubbles within,
Like the trickling of a lazy stream.
Languid limbs arch gracefully,
Harnessing the power of the elements.
Kohl lines accentuate
Lenses trained on an elusive search.
From stone to water
I have transformed;
As the emergence of a butterfly,
Breaking free of the chrysalis.
With the slightest flutter
I spread my wings,
Soaring free,
Untethered, unhinged,
From the clutches of the id,
And binding expectations.
I lie amidst you,
As a baby lies between her parents;
In peaceful repose,
Palms open
Arms spread out wide.
I am peace
Like the quiet of a thick, dark night.
I am joy
Like a new mother with her child on her bosom.
I dream of what is,
I weave what can be;
A glittery, flickering mirage of divinity
A beacon that invites
Nothing but love.

This is lovely and it resonated with me.
